How do I create absence types?
To organize and plan your employees´ absence, you can use existing, as well as create your own absence types, which can be used when an employee applies for absence.
Note: An absence type can be edited after its creation. Absence types can be deleted as well, as long as they are not used in the planning. Therefore, it is recommended not to create and set up the necessary absence type, before you actually need it to register or export absence to your digital economic system. |
In this article, you will learn how to set up absence types:

In the menu, click on Settings > Absence types |
Thereafter, click on Create absence type |

Fill in the name of the absence type (you can use letters as well as numbers) |
Click on Create to end the process |

Tick the box Can be reported to enable your employees, to report absence using the created absence type in the web system or via the app |

In this example, we will avoid including the absence type in the salary calculation for Training, meaning that the employees will have registered absence, but will not receive salary, for the absent time. |
Click on Create to create the absence type |
