How do I set up notifications for customers?
Would you like a reminder when, for example, it is time to renew a customer contract? Notifications can be set up for each customer to help you remember this, or other relevant things.
Notifications can be created by the administrator and supervisors. Once a notification is set up, it will also be possible to edit and delete it.
NOTE:
Supervisors can only create, edit, and delete notifications for customers within the supervisor's assigned customer areas. For more information regarding this, go to Company Structure.

This is how you create notifications for your customers

In the menu, go to Customers > Customer list
|
|
Click on Edit notifications for this customer
|
|
|
Click on Create notification
|
|
|
Fill out the following information
|
|
Name |
Description |
Activated the
|
The date you want the reminder to be triggered.
|
Notification type
|
Select the type that describes what the notification is generally about. New types can be added by clicking on Add

NOTE! While notification types can be created by supervisors, they can only be deleted by the administrator.

Notification
|
Here, you can describe the specifics of the notification, e.g. what exactly you want this notification to remind you to do.

Repetition
|
Select if the notification should be repeated. You can choose between the following:
- Never

Daily
- The notification must be repeated on a daily basis.

Weekly
- Select which day(s) the notification should be triggered on every week.

Monthly
- Decide whether the reminder should be repeated on the date you set or on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th day (Monday–Sunday) of the month.

Yearly

The notification will be triggered every year on the same date.

Repeat each
|
Here, you can adjust the repetition, for example if it should be repeated every 2, 3, or 4 months
|
Ends
|
Here, you can decide whether the repetition pattern should end on a specific date or never stop. |
Type
|
Select how to receive the notification:
- Only in the system (go to Customers > Notifications or through the Overview)
- By e-mail
- By text message (NOTE! The add-on module Text Message must be activated)
- By e-mail and text message (NOTE! The add-on module Text Message must be activated to receive text messages).

Receiver
|
Select who should receive the notification:
- Administrator and supervisors
- Only administrator

Only supervisors
|

NOTE:
Supervisors can only receive notifications for customers who are assigned to the supervisor's customer areas. If multiple supervisors are assigned to the same customer area, they will all receive the notification. For more information regarding customer areas, go to Company Structure.

Complete the process by clicking on Create |

This is how you edit notifications

In the menu, go to Customers > Customer list
|
|
Click on Edit notifications for this customer |
|
|
Then, click on Edit notification
|
|
|
Edit the information
|
|
Finally, click on Save
|
|
This is how you delete a notification
|
In the menu, go to Customers > Customer list
|
|
Click on Edit notifications for this customer
|
|
|
Then, click on Delete notification
|
|
Complete the process by clicking on Accept
|
|
NOTE:
When the notification is deleted, it will no longer be displayed in the system and no e-mail and/or text message will be sent.
