What are cleaning plan templates, and what are the different types used for?
Cleaning plan templates are used as a starting point for setting up new cleaning plans for the employees.
In CleanCalculator, an offer is set up based on programmed cleaning.
Programmed cleaning uses a three-number code that generally defines when light cleaning, thorough floor cleaning, and thorough furniture cleaning are to be carried out.
In contrast, the cleaning plans in CleanManager are set up based on practical frequency-based cleaning.
Here you set up specifically when and how the cleaning is to be carried out.
The cleaning plans in CleanManager are built according to the concept of Systematic walk.
This means that, in general, the tasks depicted on the plans must be read and worked through from the top down, when you as a cleaning employee work your way through the cleaning plan.
The cleaning plans can be used in many ways. When it comes to choosing which type of template to use as a starting point, you have to keep the customer and the employee in mind. It must be a plan that suits them.
There are 4 different types of standard templates that you can adapt especially for your purposes.
In this article, you will learn about the different types of templates:
Frequency plan
The Frequency plan template is used to create a plan that clearly shows the frequencies in which the cleaning tasks at a location are to be carried out.
The customer's areas are set up in columns in the plan.
The plan is structured in a way that the employee finds the area/room they need to clean and then works their way through the plan, while looking at which tasks must be carried out on the day in question.
This type can be a bit complex for some employees to read as it can contain a lot of information and how it should be read is not obvious to everyone. In cases like these, one of the other types could be used instead, for example, the Area plan.
This cleaning plan is often used for larger customers who may have rooms/areas that need to be cleaned in different frequencies. For instance, some tasks might have to be completed on a Monday and the rest on a Friday, or it can be more periodic work.

Area plan
Use the Area plan to divide the areas into headings with their associated tasks. This plan works on the basis of frequencies as well, so that each task can have specified when during the week it must be carried out.
The Area plan is the cleaning plan that is used most frequently, as it is transparent and easy to understand. The Area plan is typically used for both small and large customers who do not have too many premises to be added to the plan. It can be used on the same type of customers as the frequency plan.

Weekly plan
The Weekly plan is used to define what needs to be done daily, weekly, and periodically.
The overall comment for the cleaning plan must indicate which area the plan in question belongs to. You, therefore, set up several cleaning plans if there are numerous areas.
The Weekly plan can be used to give the employees a little more freedom by allowing them to decide for themselves when they perform a task. The freedom is given by not specifying when the weekly cleaning tasks must be carried out during the week.
The Weekly plan is often used for smaller customers who do not have many areas/premises to clean.
