How do I create and set up customers?
In order to create and assign tasks to your employees at specific customer locations, you must first create the customer in the system.
Customers can be added to the customer list by the administrator or a supervisor. Not all fields for information are obligatory, and the administrator and/or supervisor can determine how much information needs to be filled out.
This article will also explain how the various information can affect the customer in other parts of the system, such as choice of colour for tasks in the calendar.

This is how you create a customer
In the menu, go to Customers > Customer list |

Then, click on Create customer |

Fill in the relevant information |

Finally, click on Create |
||
This is how the customer type affects the customer
Select the Customer type |

You can choose between Business and Private |
||
By selecting Business, the field for CI no. becomes available. Here, you can enter the customer's company number |
||
By selecting Private, the field for SSN number becomes available. Here, you can enter the customer's National Insurance number if necessary |

This is how the customer area affects the customer
Select the Area |

Choose which area you want to assign the customer to. Customer areas can be created by going to Company structure. For more information about this, see the following article: Creating customer areas |

This is how you can change the colour for the customer in the calendar
Click on Colour in calendar |

Select the desired colour for this customer's tasks |
|
In the calendar, you can see that tasks for the customer will appear in the selected colour |

This is the contact person
The contact person is who you coordinate your cleaning with at the customer |

Fill out the data of the customer's contact person |
||
You can fill in the following data:

This is how you grant the customer's contact person access to CleanManager
Click on Grant access to CleanManager to contact person |

The contact person will receive an e-mail with a username and password You can grant the customer contact access immediately when creating them, or it can be done at a later point |

The other way to grant a customer contact access to the system is by doing the following: |

Click on Edit access for contact person |

Click on Grant access to the contact person |
