What are keys, and how do I get started using them?
In this article, you get a step-by-step guide that describes the process you have to go through to set up and use keys.
The process describes how key rings are set up, managed, and displayed in different parts of the system and by different user types.
Get started using keys by following these three steps:
1. Create your first key ring
Get started creating your first key ring. Select a customer and a location you want to begin setting up the key ring at:

Now set up the codes and keys associated with the key ring.
2. Handling of key rings
Once a key ring has been set up and saved, there will be two ways in which an Administrator / Supervisor can handle the key rings. This could be done through a hand-in and hand-out process, or by linking all employees to the key ring.
It is possible to sort the created key rings so that, e.g., only one customer is shown. There are also some administrative functions that the Administrator / Supervisor can use in managing the hand-in and hand-out process of key rings.
When the hand-out, as well as the hand-in of a key ring, has taken place, a receipt will be generated which the Administrator / Supervisor will be able to access.
3. Displaying keys
It is possible for an Administrator, Supervisor, Customer, or Employee to display the key rings from various sources.
See the following articles on how the different user types can display the key rings:
