How do I use the start time registered via the check-in app to calculate evening, night, Sunday, and public holiday supplements as well as overtime?
If your employees are getting paid on the basis of evening-, night-, Sunday-, and holiday-supplements as well as any overtime, then the system will automatically calculate any supplements based on the planned start and end time in the calendar.
E.g. a task can be planned to be carried out between 4 pm and 6 pm and is estimated to take two hours. If your employee checks in at 4.30 pm and finishes at 6.30 pm, the evening supplements will not be paid for the 30 minutes after 6 pm.
It is always very important to communicate with your employees that they should stick to the planned start and end times of tasks (remember to set up the start and end times for the evening and night supplements in the General settings).
If you would like the system to pay your employees for their actual check-in times, you can activate the option in order to include the evening supplement (and other supplements) even though, your employee has worked at another time, which has not been planned.
