How do I set up that employees are able to specify transport duration in the app for their tasks?
Employee transport can be planned in different ways.
You are able to e.g. plan transport tasks, set up transport time in the calendar, or you can enable employees to register their own transport time during the course of a day for different tasks.
A flexible way of setting up transport time is to allow employees to register their own transport time for the planned work (registered transport time will be sent to the administration for approval).
The activation of this setting unlocks two additional transport fields on a task, which can be filled out by employees:
1. Registration of transport time (this will be added to the employee's work time, and salary is based on the settings for transport in the salary and supplement rates section)
2. Registration of transport distance is done in km (will be counted towards the employee's use of their own car, based on the settings for transport in the salary and supplement rates section)
Activation of registration of transport in the app
To activate the setting of registration of transport in the app, two setting needs to be activated.
Firstly, the general setting to report transport on the individual tasks in the calendar needs to be activated:
This setting enables you to plan transport for the individual task in the calendar with these extra boxes:
These boxes can be filled out by the administration for the individual task, but they can also be filled out by employees by activating the setting "employees can specify transport duration in the app?" in the section "App and check-in".
