How do I edit and hide my salary and supplement rates?
You have the option to edit or hide your salary and supplement rates, to adjust your CleanManager account to the specific needs of your company.
Editing
You have the option to edit individual salary and supplement rates, by changing the name, salary type, and rate.
Certain supplements can be edited to include a time interval, in which the supplement should be triggered. This can either be on a monthly basis, in the case of seniority supplements, etc., on an hourly or on a date basis.
Hiding
You can hide supplements if you do not want to include them in the payroll export any longer.
This will result in you no longer being able to include personal supplements when setting up employee wages or absence hour types, as well as special supplements for cleaning types.
In this article, you will learn how to edit and hide salary and supplements:
Editing salary and supplement rates
Go to Settings > Salary and supplement rates in the menu |
|
After that, click on Edit In this example, we will be editing the Personal supplement 1 and changing it to a Seniority 1 supplement. The supplement can be set to Always imposed by not adding a time period. |

|
Edit name, salary type, and rate |
|
In the example below, we have added a time period, for when the supplement should be imposed and when it should be imposed too. By doing this, you can set up your supplement to activate itself after a given amount of months of employment. In the case of the Seniority 1 example, a second supplement could be set up, to be called Seniority 2, which then would be imposed after 24 months, but with no amount of months, defining its end. |

Click on Save to complete the process.
NOTE: For a Personal Supplement to be activated, it needs to be checked off at the employee, as well as on the cleaning type (and/or the absent hour type). Read more in the article: Introduction to cleaning types |
Hide supplements
Use the hide function to exclude a supplement rate from being included in the payroll calculations, payroll export, or cleaning types.
Go to Settings > Salary and supplement rates in the menu
Click on Hide |
|
|
Click on Accept to end the process. |
|
|
The supplement is now hidden. Click on the icon Show supplements |
|
INFO: If you hide a supplement, then it is no longer selectable and will not be included in payroll exports and payroll calculations. If you choose to activate it again, it will be added to the employee, the cleaning type, and/or the absence hour type, they were connected to before the deactivation. |
