New subsection in General settings with CSV export options
We have updated the CSV export feature in CleanManager to give you more control over how your data is exported. It is now possible to define which symbols and formats should be used in your CSV exports. These new options help ensure that your files work correctly across various spreadsheet programs – even when handling different languages and formatting styles.
A new section has been added under General settings, where you can customise the default CSV export settings. You can now choose:
Text encoding | Choose between UTF-8, Windows-1252, etc., to ensure special characters and € are displayed correctly in the receiving program. |
Decimal separator | Select whether numbers should be exported using a period (. ) or comma (, ) as the decimal separator. |
Field delimiter |
Choose how fields are separated – using comma, semicolon, or colon – depending on what your spreadsheet program supports. |
Text delimiter | Define how text fields should be enclosed, e.g. using double quotes (" ). |
Handle values as text |
Decide whether all fields should be wrapped in text delimiters, or only when necessary. |
